Support The Center for the Study of Race, Politics, & Culture

CSRPC’s vision is to bring people together to advance antiracist research and practice and ultimately to create change. We are all students and teachers; we work together to create knowledge and nurture spaces of growth, compassion, respect, freedom, and joy.

This year, the Center for the Study of Race, Politics & Culture marks 30 years as a vital home for rigorous scholarship, creative practice, and anti-racist engagement. Since our founding conference in 1996, CSRPC has been a brave, nurturing space for students, faculty, staff, artists, and community partners committed to understanding race as central to public life—and to imagining more just futures.

As we honor this legacy, we also face a stark reality: the work that defines CSRPC is under threat. In today’s political climate, forces seek not only to defund our efforts, but to censor, criminalize, and ban the very research, art, and programming our community produces. These attacks target the questions we ask, the histories we preserve, and the futures we dare to imagine.

We refuse silence. We remain rooted and rising in the belief that truth-telling, creative freedom, and critical inquiry are essential to democracy. CSRPC will continue to support scholarship that challenges injustice, artistic work that expands our collective imagination, and partnerships that translate knowledge into action.

Your gift helps ensure this work endures. By supporting CSRPC on Giving Day, you affirm that marginalized histories matter, that rigorous inquiry must remain free, and that justice requires sustained investment. Your generosity allows us not only to survive this moment, but to meet it with clarity, courage, and care.

Stand with us. Give today—and help secure the next 30 years of fearless scholarship, creative practice, and collective possibility.
