The Beyond Prisons Initiative at CSRPC officially launched in July 2023. Under the leadership of Alice Kim, the Beyond Prisons Initiative builds on Kim’s prior work as the inaugural director of the Human Rights Lab at the Pozen Family Center for Human Rights from 2018-2023. Beyond Prisons is an extraordinary hub of critical community engagement, learning and knowledge building centered on solutions to carceral injustices.
